With fall just around the corner I’ve been looking forward to sweaters, boots, and pumpkin spice everything! I am also excited because it means I can bring out my fall decor (and that means I’m that much closer to being able to decorate for Christmas! Yay!) I love fall, it’s my favorite season here in Utah, the vibrant colors of the trees make me so happy. I love to bring as many natural elements as I can into my decor especially in the fall.
Today I want to share with you some things that are on my wish list to warm up my home for fall.
Let’s start with this Hyde rug, definitely one of my favorite trends right now. They are everywhere and I am obsessed! You don’t have to have rustic decor to incorporate this rug, it brings the perfect amount of warmth when mixed with modern pieces. Try using a few mid century modern pieces, such as, side tables lamps, etc.. For an updated look.
My next obsession would be these Mongolian fur pillow covers, I think every room should have one piece of Mongolian fur. Whether it’s a bench, a stool, or a pillow, it adds instant texture and warmth, making it a perfect addition for fall and winter months.
I added these brass sconces because anything brass has my heart these days. Brass adds instant warmth to gray, white, black or navy. I am hoping to add some of these to my built in bookcases in my family room.
I saw these crab apple branches and fell in love! I look for elements that have some nostalgia, these took me down memory lane to the crab apple tree in my parents backyard. We don’t have much landscaping at our new home, so I don’t have the option of clipping branches to add to my clear glass vases. I can’t wait to get my hands on some of these realistic branches.
With an all white and gray kitchen, I use touches of wood like this pedestal bowl to add warmth.
Velvet, it’s just the texture I’m looking to add for fall! These pillows come in a variety of colors, the ember color is my favorite.
I added this faux fiddle leaf fig for those of you who weren’t blessed with a green thumb. Although I would love to have a real one, I love the peace of mind I have knowing mine will never die!
This basket is currently on sale and perfect for your faux fiddle leaf fig tree!
Are you inspired to decorate for fall? I hope so! I’m starting as soon as my kids are settled into their school routines!
