I feel like I’m really behind this year, I’ve picked up some new things for Christmas this year but I have yet to start on my decorating. I usually start right after Halloween but we have had some things going on around here that are really throwing me off my game!
Traditional Christmas Tartan Plaid with a Modern Touch
You know it’s bad when my kids are asking when I’m going to start getting our trees up rather than saying “already???” So, I thought I’d share a little bit of my Christmas Inspiration for 2019! Blue and Green tartan plaid is calling my name this year! I want to go a bit traditional but with some modern touches, below you’ll find a few of the images I pinned on Pinterest this year.
Do you notice a theme? Other than Navy and Green? All of the trees are natural. This year will be the first year in 7 years that our main tree won’t be flocked! I love a good flocked tree but this year I am going for a more natural and traditional look.
I’m sharing a few of the new additions to my decor this year, along with some things that I am still eyeing. I am trying to make my final selections soon because Christmas decor tends to sell out fast this time of year! I am working with King of Christmas for my Christmas tree this year and I am so excited to get it set up!
They have six new lines of trees this year and I had a hard time deciding what to order. I went with the Scarlet tree, be sure to check back soon to see how it turned out!
You can tour my home decorated for Christmas last year Here. I hope you are signed up for my newsletter so you don’t miss out on this years tour!
What are your favorite colors to decorate with? Let me know in the comments!
XO,
Jen
[…] I try to switch things up each year by changing out a few items. My inspiration can come from anywhere, an image on Pinterest, a piece of decor, anything I fall in love with. Then it builds from there! I wrote about this years inspiration Here. […]
