I have been hanging on to the last bits of summer with everything I have. I haven’t been ready for Fall to arrive at ALL! That is until I got a few beautiful fall patio items from Walmart and of course some pumpkins! I am so excited to show you how I transitioned from summer to fall on our patio! *this post is sponsored by Walmart, all selections and opinions are my own.
I snapped this photo when a few of the items I ordered from Walmart arrived and I had gathered some pumpkins and mums. I wasn’t quite finished with the patio but I was enjoying the beautiful evening, it’s my favorite time out here, when the sun starts to set the mountain glows!
I love having string lights on our pergola, it adds just the right amount of ambiance. The only thing I really want to add now is a fire pit table, I looked at a few but haven’t decided which one will be the best fit. A fire pit table would be the perfect addition to a cozy fall patio. You can see the ones I love below, maybe you can help me out and leave a comment and tell me which one you like 🙂
What Cozy Elements Make a Fall Patio
My main focus was to add some cozy elements to transition to fall on the patio. I ordered the Chevron throw and the Striped throw, both are the perfect size and they were under $20 each! I also ordered the knit color block pillows, they feel like a soft sweater so they are perfect to cuddle up to on a chilly night!
I also loved the Thankful pillow, all of the pillows were $15 or less, and everything shipped really fast!! The pillows aren’t outdoor pillows but I don’t plan on leaving them out with our unpredictable weather. I have covers I can throw on the furniture but I am looking at getting a storage box similar to this one to store pillows and cushions while not in use.
Fall Patio Laterns, Candles, and More!
I originally ordered the lanterns for my entryway, I love how they look on my entry table! I brought them out to use the candles for extra ambiance. While on the way out I broke the glass vase that goes in the larger one 😢. I ended up putting mums in that one and I love how it turned out, lemons out of lemonade in this situation. On a side note, I loved the look of the leaves scattered around the patio.
While I was taking pics my son offered to grab the leaf blower to help me clean up (that’s one of their jobs in the yard). I told him to leave them, he was so confused lol! You would think my crazy antics as a mommy blogger wouldn’t surprise them anymore but they still do. However pretty they were in this photo, leaves are a GIANT headache for us by the pool. We use a leaf blower pretty much daily and it’s a huge timesaver plus the boys love to run it!
I am really excited about how much I was able to get from Walmart while spending so little, I have been so impressed with their selection of products online as well! The Fall season always reminds me of how much I am thankful for. I’m thankful for the crisp fall air and a beautiful spot to enjoy it.
I’m mostly thankful for all of you for letting me share the things I love with you! I hope you find some inspiration for your space whether it’s indoors or out. You can see more of my favorite things for Fall below!
