I can’t believe today is finally the day that I get to share our Boho Glam White bedroom makeover with you! It’s week 7 of the One Room Challenge where I joined as a guest participant to makeover my daughters room in 7 weeks. I love the challenge because we get to share every step with you week by week the plans, process, set backs and challenges, you get to follow along with it all. If you are just joining, you can catch up below
Here’s a peek at what her room looked like before…
After 7 weeks of white paint, then more white paint, new flooring, lighting, and much more, I am beyond excited to show you the final reveal!
I’m pretty sure I am more excited about this room than my daughter is! I’m not kidding when I say I might just move down there!
I don’t even have a favorite part, I just love it all! But if I had to choose, I’d say the Art by Christie Adelle and the lighting from Lamps Plus would be at the top of the list.
I’d love to take you on a little tour of her room and share sources along the way, get ready for picture overload!
We started out by keeping her bed, I’m not sure how much longer she’ll be living at home and I didn’t want to change the size of her bed and possibly have to change it again in another year. It was originally from pottery barn kids, you can find a similar one HERE. Anther item we kept is the vintage Lane cedar chest that I found years ago at a thrift store. I’m not the best thrifter, so this was a huge score for me! The mirror is a target find but you can find a better quality mirror in multiple sizes HERE . The Flooring is Luxury vinyl, a product that is great for our basement floor and one that I’ve been really impressed with! You can find it HERE.
I was super excited to find these nightstands, the reviews were great and the price was even better! I had to wait until they were restocked, they sell out quickly! The Gallery frames came with these prints in them and they were a perfect fit so I left them in, you can also switch them out to prints or photos of your choice. The sconces are amazing! They are priced really well and the quality is outstanding!

That Art is what makes this space! I adore Christie, her talent blows me away! You can check out her other works HERE.
We also kept the desk she’s had for the past several years, she really could use another desk but again, I’m not sure what she’ll need in the future so it stays for now. I accessorized her built ins using books from the thrift store, turning them so the bindings face the back helps to create a more uniform look. If you need it to be even more uniform you can use white paper in place of the book covers. I also filled the lower shelves with blankets and pillows in case she has friends over and they want to lounge on the floor. Also because I think it makes it feel like West elm’s merchandised shelves, and who doesn’t like West elm? ?

Here’s a few shelfies for you..
Between her white walls and large window, her room gets plenty of light but the mirror hung opposite of the window reflects even more light, you would never guess that this is a basement bedroom right? I also love that depending on where you are standing, it reflects the art or shelving which makes the room feel like it has even more visual interest.
A couple more shots, because I took about 8 million photos and couldn’t narrow it down!

Last but not least, the crown jewel of this room is the chandelier from Lamps Plus ?! If you love this look but don’t have the ceiling height for a chandelier, it comes in a flush mount fixture as well!

Blush and posh! I wouldn’t blame you at all for calling dibs on the room. You’re the mom. You get first dibs. 😉
Well done on the ORC!
