Christmas decor favorites 2017

A few days ago I posted this photo on Instagram, I was contemplating my Christmas decor for the upcoming season. I was shocked at the response it got, it will most likely end up being my most popular post of the year.  It was this gorgeous classic setting by Ballard Designs.

I posed a question, asking my followers what they prefer, a classic natural look? Or a Flocked tree? A great many responded that they love a beautiful natural tree. I have to agree that a setting like this would make you feel like you stepped into a Christmas catalog, or a Hallmark movie! I fully intended on making a change to my decor this year and going with a natural look with my tree. But then when I was in a local florist shop on my search for a new tree, I came across the most perfect tree!

It isn’t the beautiful, full, natural looking tree that I had in mind. In fact it’s quite the opposite! It’s slim, and frosted so it has the perfect amount of flocking without being too overwhelming. I have a flocked tree in my bedroom and in our office, so it will be a welcome change to have one that is a little different. I posted it on my stories on Instagram and for the 24 hours that it was posted I had countless messages requesting a source for the tree. Unfortunately I wasn’t able to find a source online for the tree I purchased, but I found some that are similar. I wanted to share with you all of the updates to my Christmas decor this year, I am loving gray buffalo check, mixed with silver, gold, and faux fur to warm it up.  Several things have already sold out or almost sold out so if you see something you like don’t hesitate! *Affiliate links used in this post.
